I owned this game as a child as part of the Junior Field Trips compilation and out of the three, Jungle was definitely my favorite; so a few days ago, since it was on sale, I thought Why not?, bought it, and relived it. Humongous had a knack for hiding fun clickpoints and surprises in their games, but the Junior Field Trips ran with that idea and made exploration its focus. There's plenty of colorful, exotic creatures and plants to click on and learn about immediately, but others require either patience and waiting for them to appear on screen, or manipulating the surroundings in order to uncover them. So, it can take a kid a long time to find everything in the game, and even as an adult, I found a few animals that I never knew were in the game. There's also a suite of mini-games for a fun diversion from learning about the jungle. Obviously, this game was intended for young children and they will get the most out of it. The game's easy to navigate, has dozens of different animals and plants to learn about, and Buzzy optionally narrates all of the game's text for pre-readers. There isn't really any reason for an adult to play it (other than with their children or out of nostalgia), but even so I bet anyone who does play it will learn about some new animals and spend at least a solid hour or so just exploring the fun environment.. Have you ever wanted to know what bugs you can eat in Africa? What does Africa smell like anyway? Give a HIGH FIVE to "Bugman the Knowledge Bird" in this fun game only for adults.. Works as expected on my pc; Is really buggy and unplayable on my gaming laptop. On th laptop the mouse pointer is unstable; moving too rapidly and blinking in and out randomly. Also the game screen is over-sized and doesn't fit the screen. There are no options to adjust any of the settings. That said: The game is good for age group 3 to 5. 5 year olds would probably get bored with it after one sitting. It would be improved if Buzzy read the "whats this" information but he doesn't and unless your 3 year old can read it's not a feature that would get a lot of use.. This game was part of my childhood. I'm pretty sure that the kiddies would love this game. Especially the Anteater Feeder minigame. It's still amusing to me as an adult. I will say this, the animation quality is great, but the lip syncing is a little off. This game will be great for kids and adults in my opinion. Kudos to Humongous Entertainment for making this game great. For Let's Explore the Farm and Let's Explore the Airport, I have the same opinion. All three Junior Field Trips games will make great fun to both kids and adults alike. That's the way I see it anyway.
